ModernImport is a founder-led project. We are personally involved in every stage — from discovering products to building relationships with the manufacturers we work with.
Xavier Garrido
Xavier combines a background in Chemical Engineering with a Master's in Artificial Intelligence and 8 years of experience as a Product Manager across Iberia, North Africa and European markets.
He has experience developing products from the ground up, working with international suppliers, understanding customer needs and creating commercial strategies adapted to different markets.
At ModernImport, Xavier focuses on business development, marketing strategy, product positioning and supplier relationships. His ability to combine product analysis, artificial intelligence and customer-focused marketing helps identify opportunities and communicate product value effectively.
He speaks Spanish, Catalan and English, and is passionate about discovering innovative products, building supplier relationships and turning new ideas into commercial opportunities.
Kamila Rybak
Kamila brings over 20 years of experience in sales, product management and international business development.
Originally from Poland and based in Spain, she speaks Polish, Spanish, Catalan and English, bringing a valuable multicultural perspective to ModernImport.
Her experience includes 7 years in private label and OEM product development for a leading national company, working with home appliances and beauty products, as well as sales development for the Polish market.
At ModernImport, Kamila focuses on product sourcing, supplier relationships, market potential analysis and the development of new commercial opportunities in Spain and Europe.
